The Polo Club Wallerstein and its co-founder and initiator of the first “Girls Only” tournament last year will be presenting this renowned Ladies polo tournament at Wallerstein Castle again this summer.The positive reaction of the 20 international players who arrived, hailing from Shanghai to Mexico, to participate in the tournament and of the sponsors was overwhelming. The Wallerstein Polo Cup - Girls Only was fully booked in April already, with six teams, even though the team handicap for the tournament was raised to between -2 and 0. Players from Australia, China, Thailand, Sweden, the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Argentina accepted the invitation this year, bringing the number of nations participating in the tournament to 12, as summed up by Princess Anna zu Oettingen-Wallerstein, who is promoting Ladies polo in Germany.
