Hey guys,

I just got my first pair of polo boots! Alas I will no longer be the scruff in Jodhpurs and miss matched club house half chaps! Hoping to get some advice on boot care and tips on how to get them more comfortable. They are off the rack so will possibly need to be cropped some time in the future. But for now are there any home remedies I can use to get them up to scratch?

you need to break them in. start wearing them around as much as possible. always wash them after use to get rid of horse sweat. my bootmaker told me to rub johnsons baby oil onto the the boots 4 times a year.
Good tip, I am a bit worried though. The boots are a bit difficult to zip up, will the leather loosen up soon?
yes boots will zip up eaiser with time, try some wax on the zip and work the zips with the wax on.
