Mc Kenzie - said it was excellent -even better than Argentina.
Hi GB - are you planning a trip to SA? That may be the excuse I need :)
The list is huge.... what level, what requirements, etc etc?
First off, what time of year - there are 2 seasons, winter in the north, summer in the Cape.
Permalink Reply by GB Polo on March 17, 2012 at 18:29 the Cape is fantastic, GB! I've never played in Plettenberg Bay, which is where Sallie is talking about, but I believe it makes a lot of sense (I, however, have never been very sensible).
In Cape Town there're 2 clubs, I'll share contacts/details with you privately - there are big plusses to either, depending on what you're looking for.
Ideal trip - start in Cape Town and drive up the East Coast to Plett. Ideal time of the year - probably Jan-march, in my personal opinion.

Permalink Reply by Tomasz Krowicki on April 1, 2012 at 9:52 I have been to SA twice to play polo, in 2009 and two weeks ago. I have been to both Capte Town clubs (Ostrich Farm and Val de View) and in Plettenberg. PM for more details and specific questions etc. including accomodation options etc.
