I want to make members/friends/fans of Canadian Polo aware of the PoloSkilz Network.

The PoloSkilz Network is an online resource for polo players. It includes helpful videos and articles from top players, former players, high-goal grooms, coaches, instrcutors, horse trainers, farriers, veterinarians, and equipment manufacturers. It is geared specifically for the low goal player.

The big idea is to improve the skills of a large number of players at the bottom of the polo pyramid so collectively we can all play better polo without spending a lot more money. Our aim is to become basically a living breathing encyclopedia of the sport we all love so much.

We add new content almost every single day. We are currently offering the first 200 subscribers membership at 50% off the regular price of US$97 per month. Annual subscribers get an additional 15% off.

I invite all polo enthusiasts to register for a free trial at poloskilz.com.

In Montreal there are two clubs. Club Nacional and the Montreal Polo Club. You can find their contact information either at www.polocanada.ca or www.thepolopost.com. I'm surprised to see an Argentine from La Dolfina interested in taking polo lessons from Canadians. Kind of like us wanting to take hockey lessons in Argentina.

Ian,

Having been involved in polo in the Ottawa area for the last 20 yrs I'm surprised we have never meet. How long have you been playing ? are you a member of Polo Canada or the USPA ? In the Ottawa area we have two great clubs and two polo schools of which I am the owner of one. A total of 4 international fields, two arenas, club house, and an indoor/outdoor ring. I would hardly consider our set-up small and quaint. We host several major tournaments throughout the summer and winter months and are part of the Ontario Polo Tour. Our members are very active travelling throughout Ontario and the US for tournaments. George.

If in Canada you can also visit Montreal Polo Club, great facilities, and Ottawa, small but quaint. Both low handicap. If you dare come visit Cantley in Quebec, am just starting new facilities, see my page for more info. Good luck, Ian
