Wellington -- January 3, 2010. The 2010 Polo season was off to a brisk start. The polo was fast, the wind nipped at ponies and people's heels and there was a definite bite to the air. Wednesday evening February 18, 2009 the National Museum of Polo and Hall of Fame held a press conference and cocktail reception to announce and introduce the captains and players for the prestigious 2009 Westchester Cup.

England’s team dashed hopes for an American victory in the 2009 Westchester cup on Sunday February 21 at International Polo Club Palm Beach. The match was won in overtime with a final score of 10-9.
