3 months since Polo Initiation - wow! I am loving it!

It's been 3 months since i started playing polo from scratch.. It has been an amazing learning process, i am really happy with my progress... i am really pumped up today since I had some really good plays yesterday in the Wed evening arena chukkers I play at Woodside Horse Park in SFO bay area.. Some of my shots I myself was amazed with .. an offside backhand goal and a near side back hand goal.. Social Club----vicarious Polo Player

Since my back is a bit crooked...I cannot ride...as a child in Lake Oswego Oregon I groomed, and grew up, I think in my mind, being a polo player...I am a member of the Hawaii Polo Club, and travel and been invited to Ham Polo, and Sotogrande, to name a few. I find the Polo crowd to be mostly warm, fun and open. My only wish...is that I could really ride...and be amongst you.

More about my polo past

I started playing polo with the University of Louisville Polo club, in Louisville, Kentucky. I'd been on and around horses before, but I learned to ride and play at the same time. I loved the intricacies of arena polo. I held several officer positions for the club, helping it to establish itself. Starting a Polo Club at a University from scratch is a huge challenge.
